I don't kknow about the others but S9/S9+ is also bloated. :( dno about the others since I never had any of them, but I'm sure they have some sort of bloatware on them.

I did install TWRP after unlocking the bootloader then tried to root it which resulted in a bricked phone. I then reloaded the official ROM from Xiaomi and fortunately all my setting and whatnot where intact.

I don't have the phone anymore

Your Xiaomi smartphone begged you to install LineageOS and save you both from built-in crapware, but sadly you ignored its pleas. If you did it, you'd never want a smartphone of different brand again. =p

Xiaomi was sad after seeing Samsung,Galaxy,Macs, ipads,MSI, Netgear,BMW,F1, Secret Lab, Matrix programmer etc.... It felt it was good to kick the bucket ASAP.

If lineage made a rom for that phone then sure. I would suggest a lot more reading first though. Samsung phones are a pain to flash.

If you follow the instructions then its really easy. Odin,SD card and picoApps are the best combination to enjoy android on older devs esp. Samsung.

Flashing the modem on Samsung never worked well for me. More trouble than its worth but I stay away from samsung generally now.
