I just noticed... I can just about see brushes in the background - in max battery save mode.

    16Bit rather than 32Bit
    40HZ instead of 60Hz
minimum brightness rather than max brightness

    Edit:
Visisble in max settings too :)

I guess Lenovo screens aren't that great. :twitchy:

EDIT: Padmé, I did not bypass the language filter.

I've been wanting to do a proper screen calibration for a long time.. But never knew the right way. There was always this option for an .edid file in my nVidia settings. What's that?

I think the reason people choose white is because it's close enough to the background. Too much trouble going through a bunch of colors to find one that matches the background perfectly.

Depends what angle I view my screen at. I can just about make it out.

Its the closest colour to the background though.

    Examples
    Hello
    Hello
    Hello

I see dead people too. :p

Never calibrated my screen yet, but I have downloaded several apps that claim they can do this. I'm not sure if I actually believe them though, hence why I haven't done it. :p

I've messed with the gamma settings once, but no formal photographer grade calibration.

I can see the white font on the light grey background, but I usually say "screw it" and select white, because it's close enough.
