    Hi all,

I want to buy a Lenovo T420 notebook and I've just seen that there's a 300usd difference for the model with Nvidia card and the other with Intel card.
    Which are the main differences?

I do not need to use photoshop, video editing and so on. Also I'll never see a film on my laptop.

    Thanks
    Ste

If you're not going to do any editing or gaming, the Intel card will do you just fine.

The Intel HD graphics option is just fine for normal usage. In fact, it's actually pretty decent performance-wise compared to older Intel Integrated graphics.

I would recommend you get the i5, the 1600x900 screen, and 4GB of RAM though.

With intel video card is ram shared or dedicated?
