So I'm currently configuring a new Lenovo Y7000P (also known as the Y545), as there's currently a good deal on it here.

    i5-9300H
    GTX 1660Ti
    1080p/60Hz/300 nits screen

I have the budget for a single upgrade, which would be either:

    1) Bump the GPU up to a RTX 2060, or
    2) Bump the screen up to 144hz

So basically the configuration would be either 1660Ti+144Hz or 2060+60Hz. Both options amount to roughly the same in terms of cost.

I don't play hugely demanding games, mostly things like WoW, Borderlands 3 when it comes out, Diablo 3, Destiny 2, etc. I have a primary gaming desktop, so this isn't my main machine.

    Any thoughts/comments/suggestions?

How much would you save by foregoing both options and staying with the baseline? Or something else (memory, storage, CPU)?
