Which memory to choose for laptop?

    Seems like that model has 4GB soldered and will accept another 8GB SoDimm for 12GB Total.

    If returns are easy for you, buy both the 8GB and 16GB SoDimm's and see if you can get 20GB total and return the one you don't use. ;)

    You will need access to the single SODIMM slot inside, so some disassembly is necessary, either way. :)

    I'm recommending you try the 16GB module first if you want/need 20GB of RAM total (4GB soldered internally + 16GB SODIMM).

    If that doesn't work, then put in the recommended 8GB module for a total of 12GB of RAM.

    Return the SODIMM module that you don't use. ;)
