For my GF's birthday I am building a DIY beer pong table.

I already have my plans laid and came up with an awesome design in my opinion where it will be high quality and cheap (looking at under $100 total minus this printing portion of the job)

I wanted a really awesome looking table, so no stickers, stencils, or basic stuff I went straight to photoshop and designed something that I knew she would like and would get good impressions from guests.

So the following design is 300ppi 2'x8' and it can be printed as a two separate 2'x4' jobs since the table will be in 2 pieces.

Fedex Office wants to charge like $7 a square foot for a total of over $100 just to print me a piece of paper. More than the cost of the wood, parts, and everything combined.

I know there has to be a cheaper way.

    So any ideas, places, sites?

Buy a large format printer and paper, print what you need, then return it because it doesn't work like you want it? :D

Staples does large format printing (at least the store I worked at years ago did), maybe give them a call?

Yeah found Staples if I go B&W Engineer Print it can be quite cheap, but I would have to go 36x48 since they do not do custom sizes and trim it and not sure the quality that comes out but hear its pretty good.

Burn it into wood and then fill/coat it with urethane.

Yeah Fedex Office is expensive as hell, Staples did it in B&W dirt cheap only $14 BUT the printer must have been malfunctioning or low on toner as the last 4" of the bottom of it is faded. They gave me 3x prints for the cost of one and all of them have the same issue.

So I'll keep the cheap prints for now and apply them but maybe later on take out the artwork and get the nice stuff put in.
