I was working on my car to put on the fog lights today, only to be threatened by the infamous neighborhood watcher to wrap it up before he calls up a towing company. Now the work is halfway done, I have to find a place to remove the bumper again, finish connecting wiring harnesses, and put the bumper back on. Where should I go? Just to note, I live in VA.

If it's on your own property he can't have it towed. What a jerk.

I live in a townhouse neighborhood, and just found out that it's listed on HOA agreement. :(

Then unfortunately it sounds like he's well within his rights. :( (still a jerk though). If you don't have a buddy that you can go to, you might look in the phone book for mechanics garages. Maybe you might get very lucky and one might be willing to offer you some space if they're not busy or something. Just a thought. Or even go to the park or something.

Hire a body guard with a SPAS-12, I think that solves the problem.

I kinda have the issue too, my parents use both garages as now we have 4 cars. I park on the opposite of the street and I asked our neighbor and he doesn't care.

By some lights and do it at night. Then run him down next time you see him while driving.

I meant catch up to him and show him the installed foglights.

But I guess hiring a body guard to shoot or threaten him is ok by you?

He lives 2 doors down from my house. I don't think I'd wanna be on his bad side by running him down or hiring a bodyguard against him. :p

Fortunately, there's a Mazda owners club meeting tomorrow nearby. I guess I'll try lurking there while hoping that my front bumper doesn't fall off on the way. :D
