The specs they have are pathetic since more than a year, When in the world are they gonna upgrade their lineup to the latest CPUs/GPUs?

Ermmmm these are the latest available parts from all manufacturers. There are no successors to the Maxwell series of Nvidia GPU's. AMD didnt release anything new either and Kaby Lake is just shipping to the manufacturers now.

like what I meant is the desktop CPUs or upgraded SSDs? more RAM slots? you know, like a refresh for the current models.

WOuld be very unwise to upgrade the current models with the same CPU n GPU's. I kinda think it is unfair that other brands did release new models with the same hardware as if it is an upgrade. A few months and everything will be outdated. I would feel cheated if I would buy a laptop now with a 980M and next monthe the 1070 arrives.

Skylake was a decent upgrade from Haswell, Kaby lake wont be. But from what things are like, i dont see any new refreshes coming out any time before Q2 Next year.

I think autumn will bring the Pascal Alienwares. At least they need to.

Regarding the CPU's I always said that Intel didnt bring anything new to the table since the Sandy Bridge days. This is true in clockspeed performance but I recently found out this is not the case with FPU performance in modern games. My 6700HQ non overclocked beats the crap out of my to 5GHZ overclocked Sandy Bridge 2500K for example. The opinion I had is a very popular opinion online but actually not the case.

What do you mean by 'soon'? Because nVidia has not announced any Pascal mobility GPU yet.
And I Think AW would take several months of delay since the announcement and their own upgrades...
