I guess I will take your word for it, since I never driven a luxury car. Though I can't imagine how can it be much better than an ordinary car.
The best car I ever driven (handling wise) was my dad's Ford Mondeo Mk III. My Panzerkampfwagen Jetta comes close, but no cigar. Maybe it's due to power steering - hydraulic versus electric.

I will think about that once I get there.

Indeed, this is a great album. It has nice opened as well.
I also can imagine how Marge Simpson would sound, if she decided to sign :D

    The wisest of us all.

    What a great album opener.

As I stated, if you feel the need to acquire a luxury automobile when it's outside of your budget, then it's certainly a foolish purchase. But the original statement was a preference without any qualifiers, and so I called you out on that. While both get you from A to B, there is a great difference between the two choices and the preference is obvious. After all, we're not talking about opulence or over the top here as in a Bentley or Ferrari, but something that's better crafted and designed to perform the function of driving. I don't consider myself a car guy but I can understand this, and after driving them I can understand even more. Why buy Japanese whisky when Early Times will do the same 'job'? And you call yourselves engineers...:no:

I think I'd call this my least favorite PF album. The song you posted is okay, but more like a Shine On You Crazy Diamond wannabe song that never materializes. Learning To Fly is a classic, but the album drags on too much for me.

What I find illogical, my dear yuppie friend, is why would I spend XXX amount of money, when I can buy for X and I still go from A to B without any problems. I've driven inside "luxury cars" and I didn't feel any significant differences that would make me want to shell out the money for them. The difference in price is not worth it. Hence this is why I rather be with my VW instead with Mercedes. That is my point. Do you get it? Not the "experience is better" or easier to pick up ladies or your other usual routine you use to poke fun at me. Holla if you need me to draw you a picture.
And I'm perfectly fine with cheap booze. It gets the job done, as you correctly noticed. The reason why I drink Japanese whisky is because I bought a bottle for my dad's birthday and we drink it together.

I do admire frugality and honestly respect you for thinking this way. I was brought up this way, lived the majority of my life this way, and in a lot of ways, still do. But excuse me while I

BTW I might need that picture of you picking up those ladies as I'm having troubles envisioning it. :D

What the people say is true - the certain amount of money reveals a real nature of a person.
    Or something like that :D:p

I was talking about drawing you a picture explaining my point, but sure, you can have the other one as well.

My car has a big boot, you know, very convenient for picking up ladies.
