Man, crowds used to be wild back then...
Rickroll never looked so fresh!
Honestly doesn't look bad. The boys just having some fun. As the punk movement progressed, we'd see some rougher types not so much going out for the music, but to get aggressive in the mosh pit. No question I'd go through the pit a few times at every show, but that wasn't really my thing and I never went on stage. But I'd always careful to assess the situation and keep away from the few that had serious aggression in their eyes. They'd blindside people and definitely guys got injured. Another danger was the possibility of getting hit in the face with a boot with guys jumping off stage. I'm six foot one and around 200 lbs.,so that helped. GBH was the show that really got out of hand, with portable metal chairs being thrown down from the second story balcony area. Most punks were pretty cool though.
Most energy from a show I've ever seen. Guys flying everywhere. Play this LOUD.
These guys needed a place to rehearse, so it was arranged and agreed upon that they could play in my apartment one evening.
Jimmy Page and The Black Crowes - Ten Years Gone
Desmond Dekker & The Aces - Israelites, 007
