    They are about the same, the hardware spec seems to be the same for both, and they are about the same price. The biggest thing for me right now is that the eMachines is new and have a 1year warranty and the Asus have a 3moth warranty.

    I know the Asus eepc is a good one but I dont know about eMachines so what do you guys think?

    I would get the Asus. Even with the shorter warranty. Asus's are built better too. You don't see many E-machines Laptops or netbooks.

    I was thinking about the same...but I was not sure because of thew warranty and the fact that the price difference is not that big
