Winning isn't everything, destroying the opponent is :D Quoted things borrowed from Wikipedia.

"PGC10 2000 GT-R, scored 33 victories in the one and a half years it raced, and by the time it attempted its 50th consecutive win, its run was ended by a Mazda Savanna RX-3. The car took 1000 victories by the time it was discontinued in 1972. The last of the original GT-Rs, the KPGC110 2000GT-R, used an unchanged S20 119 kW (160 hp) inline-6 engine from the earlier 2000 GT-R"

YouTube - Skyline GTR on Fuji Speedway

"The R32 GT-R dominated Japanese Touring Car Championship (JTCC), winning 29 races from 29 starts, taking the series title every year from 1989 to 1993.[18] It took 50 races from 50 starts from 1991 to 1997 (latterly R33) in the N1 Super Taikyu."

    Meanwhile in Australia:
"Australian Touring Car Championship Wins by Marque:
    3 - Nissan - 1990-1992"

After those three championships rules where changed to:
"Class A for Australian-produced 5.0 litre V8 engined Fords and Holdens"
Talk about bad losers there? :p

A small extra I stumbled upon when started looking around...
YouTube - Skyline R32 GTR VS R33 GTR VS R34 GTR VS R35 GTR
and YouTube - Truth In Blacklist applies here too ;)

    Thanks KLF!

I love to watch Best Motoring videos on Youtube, thus where I heard about the car. It's almost sad when a racing organization has to ban or change the rules because of a dominate car. They should have encouraged the other automakers to produce better cars.

That video about the Audi being banned; I thought all of those cars were banned for being too powerful and dangerous. I'm assuming that was before it happened? Some had like 600hp?

Plastic cars with no racing fuel tanks = death traps when crashing. Too many people went out with a bang, thus the whole Groub B was banned. There was many other things wrong too, such as rescue workers would take too long time to arrive and audience was basically standing at the track when cars drove by.

But that was a TV commercial afterall :p
