Pretty self explanatory what is your all time favorite car and why?
Favorite car I have/do own... my 2011 v6 mustang
Favorite car period: Aston Martin DB9
My absolute favorite car that's within my means of living: My E46 BMW 330i. I LOVE IT. Aside from having to have the VANOS redone, it's been a dream.
Favorite unattainable car: Aston Martin Rapide...(yea yea, I like the 4-doors mmk?)
I can honestly say I do not have one.
My current car is a 1977 MGB.
I would not mind replacing it with another English sports car. Realistically that would be a TR6, but given the right opportunity (and rebuilding it myself, like I did with the MG) I could see getting an Austin Healy, an MG C, or a Morgan. If I win the lottery, I'd look for a Jaguar XK series.
As for why I like it, it is small, reasonably powerful (previous owner removed all pollution control equipment, so it puts out 100 HP on a 2200# car), nimble, and incredibly easy to work on. The engine bay has enough space to fit a Buick V8, so the stock inline 4 has lots of space on either side, and everything can be done with hand tools.
(The attached are not my actual car, but the same model/colour.)
73-87 GM C/K pickups / 73-91 GM Suburbans.
If I could afford, I would buy one of these
Audi Quattro Sport Street Version 1 OWNER - FACTORY RESTORATION. for sale at carclassic.com
Quattro-spark was infected by my friend who knew I was looking for a new car. He let me borrow is A4 quattro for 2 weeks at the worst winter time. I was sold and probably never going back Currently driving A6 2.8 quattro, already dreaming about a new one.
I don't really have an all-time fave, just a bunch I like a lot at different price levels. I must admit my dream is to have both an E36 M3 GT and a BMW E30 3-series fully built to my dream specs.
My favorite all time car would be the Mitsubishi lancer evolution.
Also love the old DTM cars like the BMW E30 and Mercedes 190e EVO.
