Currently playing Ori and the Will of the Wisps (really great game). I'm actually near the end and explored majority of the game.
Next up on the list of playing would be Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order

Caved in and grabbed Doom: Eternal when it was on sale. Pretty much what I expected.

Does it still require to login to Bughesda on game launch?

    jc_denton BGA? What a shame.

This is my gripe with new titles, everything requires a publisher launcher/store.

I love this type of decor and theme in a game. Huge futuristic city with lots of "verticality" and twinkling lights. On a first glance the gameplay looks maybe a bit too much like Mirror's Edge, but as you say, a good story may make or break it. I hope it will succeed.

Following up on this. It's been a very long time since I enjoyed a game as much as I did Cloudpunk. Very solid 8 hours of gameplay. Missed some of the side quests but closer to the end I just wanted to see what happens with the story.

For anyone who likes this type of atmosphere, I can't recommend it enough. It's an awesome game. I will be following it closely for when the devs add more content in the future.

I love Mirror's Edge, so will be putting this one in the queue.

Playing Forza Motorsport 7 in the meantime. First time I've seriously played a racing game in heaven knows how long.

It seemed to just do it automatically, doesn't seem to be getting in the way of anything.

It definitely seems like Doom Eternal is more difficult that the Doom 2016.

Yes, thank you! I thought my aim went bad and I'm crazy. I played 2016 on Ultra Violent and it was quite enjoyable. In Eternal I have to admit I went to Hurt Me Plenty at some point and now it feels about the same. Strangely Doom Eternal did not draw me in as much as 2016 did. I keep finding myself distracted with other games. IMO there are too many new "gimmicks" and by limiting the ammo count, they sort of force you to use them. The graphics are nice though.
