I just started Battletech last night. Stayed up a little bit too late and was dead tired at work.

If you're of a mind I'd be interested in your early gut call on it when you feel like you've played enough to make one.

    I asked this a while ago :(

I still play as "Koinzell" after the 0.8 wipe.

EDIT: The most recent hotfix patch has been giving me network related issues, so I have to wait until its resolved since I'm getting desyncing.

Those of you who have bought into VR, an FYI... Google earth is free and quite enjoyable for almost everyone. End FYI. :)

Someone pointed this out before and I can't "un-see" it, but when you zoom out or are at an altitude off the ground, it doesn't feel like you're flying, it feels like you're just really big and the world is smaller. This makes exploring cities hilarious because instead of being like a helicopter tour as I was expecting, it feels like you're Godzilla.

I have to update the quote:
Always be yourself. Unless you can be Godzilla. Then always be Godzilla.

    I like it.

And if anyone was wondering, as soon as this was pointed out to me the first place I loaded up was Japan.

I am playing Pool of Radiance right now with GBC. It's been since like 1990 or 1991 with my Amiga since I've played it. Having fun. Not sure I could stomach it without GBC, takes a bit of the tedium things out. I don't have the time to draw my own maps and go through menus of things to restock spells/ammo.
