I'm in the market for a laptop bag, the one that came with the laptop is ripping (probably due to the huge power brick that i zip into the front pocket )

what are you guys using to carry around you laptop + brick from place to place?

    i have the 9150 15.6" model.

I'd suggest doing a google search for forum threads on this. There has been a ton of discussion on it already and basically boils down to having a ton of options. I personally use an OGIO Streegear backpack, the ones I have is from a number of years back when I was doing school but handled my thick machine no problem.

There are many bags for that size, you need to decide what kind of bag you are looking for, do you need to hold anything else, do you travel anywhere with size restrictions?

It's not too difficult to find an accommodating bag, but if you're looking for suggestions based off experience, hopefully someone chimes in. You should be able to find formfitting bags, as well as full on carrying cases with multiple compartments; as others stated, it's really up to your needs.

    thanks for the replies guys.

was looking for something similar to the one that came with the laptop, a briefcase style.

bought a 15.6 swissarmy one but the brick won't fit in the front case. so i'll be returning that today.

backpack would be ok, but that might look weird going to a clients office with a backpack on.

ill do a search to see what other threads have said on this.

hope other still link to the cases they currently use.

    Hi,
I got a P150EM, and use the following two bags to move my laptop around.

    Patagonia Chacabuco 17" Laptop Backpack
    Patagonia Chacabuco Pack 32L Backpack

Timbuk2 Snoop DSLR / 17" Laptop Messenger Bag Medium
Snoop Camera Messenger Bag 2014 | SLR Camera Case - Timbuk2 Bags

Both fit my laptop with its fabric sleeve which i bought from Caselogic (its a 16 inch one thats discontinued).
And yes, the Messenger fits my laptop, powerbrick, SLR and two lenses with space to spare for little accesories.

Hope this helps you out in some way.

I recently bought an Asus Vector Backpack:

Computer Bags - ASUS VECTOR BACKPACK

Bought it because the laptop is loaded by its side and very, very cushioned on all sides and the backpack is impermeable (pretty useful when I'm lugging exams and the laptop around on foot on the rain). Paid around 50€ for it. A student of mine had to RMA his Clevo due to carrying it in a standard permeable backpack in the rain :(. Even with my backpack his story still haunts me!

Regarding messenger bags or even briefcases, I'd advise you against it. They have to have some volume for a NP9150 and if you have to walk around with them a lot, your posture will take quite a toll (having 3+ kilos distributed assymetrically around your body can't be good!)

That big Targus one for my P170EM: 17

It's large enough for the laptop, books, and several packs of Dunkaroos.
