I've not been a Mac user for long. But since I got my m1 MacBook Pro only with 8GB of memory 3 months ago. Ive been hooked!

It pretty much kept up with my Clevo X170-SM-G "laptop" with a 10900K and 2080S 32GB memory.

And all while on battery power and quite not literally blowing paper notes off of my desk !

Ive found for me and my workflow Mac just suites me better.

As for down time and playing games my windows laptop will be the goto for a long time to come.

To be clear I'm not a fan boy of any company I just use what worked best for me.

So literally 5 minutes after the apple event finished I got to ordering the new 16" Mac. The checkout was, well, all I can say after 7 attempts it worked.

So the specs are in the picture attached. I will be doing a comparisons and review to the best of my abilities when it arrives. Comparing it the the systems I have around me.

Im still fully expecting this to get delayed ! Screenshot 2021-10-19 at 21.07.12.png Screenshot 2021-10-19 at 21.07.35.png

At the end of the day you gotta take care of number 1...

..which is me! Where is the report I asked for? Don't tell me it's rendering on some Mac pc. My Ford handles this easily for half the price!

I still debate getting a 2012 MacBook 13 just to fiddle with the operating system. As someone who is foreign to that ecosystem it's not as if people just wake up one day reprogrammed to be an apple consumer lol, there's bound to be merit in there.

    Congrats on the purchase!

I'm curious in independent GPU benchmarks for the MAX. I have no idea what apple ran to claim the gpu performs like a 3080.

I'm going to wait for these to start hitting the refurbished store before picking one up.

A wise choice. Not as many payment options, but that is how I got my MacBook Pro 2019.

I'm hesitant to start my eBay auction for my current MBP right away since the ETA for the new one is from Nov. 18 to Nov. 26. I suspect Apple will beat that delivery estimate, though. It did with my second MBP.

The MacBook Max will blow all current Windows laptops out of the water in terms of power, screen, and battery life! (not for gamers, just saying for power users)
