I'm a soon-to-be notebook buyer, and am curious about the differences in video cards. I'm most definately not a gamer, but i do appreciate a good crisp, clear and clean picture while watching movies. I imaginge that, for example, in the Nvidia line there is a point where the differences between a 32, 64, and 128 mb card are neglible for watching movies. Similar for the Ati Radeon series, and i'm not so sure of the others [:)]. I will be using my notebook mainly for productivity, web-design and image editing, and of course watching movies. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

For that need, don't get sucked into buying a 128MB card, the extra RAM won't do much for you.

I agree with Brian, 128MB could be overkill -- but 64MB is a good amount. I prefer ATI G cards over Nvidia for notebooks, they run cooler and have better performance.
