So far the reboot with working image and updates have not left the computer in a comma state so far.

Well a few days ago my computer did a sudden reboot and now if I let it go to Auto sleep I had to today force restart so looks like I will have to reimage and update to get rid of that Auto Coma problem. Looks like if Windows Updates and reboots unannounced that will cause your system Auto Sleep problem. I'll redo my Restore to fix that problem again.

Now with the latest Tuesday Oct update my computer goes to sleep and then make a hard right to Comatose Hibernate and I can't wake it up now. I know with the previous Windows update it was working just fine and now it goes into comatose status when it goes to sleep while idling.

Well I redid the image again and reinstalled one piece of software I had some issue with and so far leaving it idle to hibernate/sleep over night it seems to come back when waking it back up without problem so far.

Ok here's something I finally had to resort to so that I could stop my computer from going into coma everytime it hits hibernation mode. Took a screen shot of what I did and I test this out to see if that has any better results.

I changed the power advance options to where the "Hybrid Sleep" was to disable to see why it was going into comatose state.

Ok I made the change and re-saved a clean image and then loaded and ran programs as usually and left to run over night on idle to test if it worked correctly. And so far the first idle to sleep to off hibernate cambe back up with a press of the space bar and logged in and open Browsers and Apps were as before. So at this point I let it do it more but sounds like the Hybrid sleep might be the cause why it can't work correctly but I keep asleep longer then a day as from idle to hibernate and see if it really can wake up without force restart.

My problem was 2 fold, My computer would not wake from sleep, also it would not power off after it shut down, I searched for months for a answer.

Some people have the sleep problem, and disabling fast startup fixes it for them, I do this in windows and in the bios.

I also have to replace the "Intel(R) Management Engine Interface" driver, I have been doing this for years, every time a new version of win10 comes out and i do a clean install i hope the problem has been fixed, I keep thinking the sleep problem has been fixed and then i cannot wake my computer from sleep and i have to force a hard shutdown.

So i have been using an alternative version of the "Intel(R) Management Engine Interfac" driver and it fixes my problem.

Now I got it running for a couple days idle to sleep to hibernate and a press of the space bar gets to the login screen. So either that hybrid options is faulty or just plain not working as it should. And disabling it helps the computer go to sleep and then to hibernate mode without problem and waking up isn't having to restart the computer.

Update beeing running this configuration for a week now and it seems to go to sleep and hibernate and then the process to wakeup with keyboard press is working good. But I also found out a txt to voice program if left running overnight and reading back if left on and then close and then letting the computer go to sleep fails to wakup and must "restart" but after that everything will work as before. So seems like that program for whatever reason seems to affect the sleep/hibernate to wakeup process. But rebooting after that seems to clear up the problem.
