Thanks to both Prema and Mythologic for shedding a bit of light on the details. I am still deciding whether to build a mATX "mini desktop" (which would be my first desktop build) or buying this laptop over the summer. It looks very promising and will be a tough decision between the two. Do I either go ultra portable with some GPU power, or stationary with limitless choices? My wife doesn't seem to care either way, so she has left it up to me. She just doesn't get to use our laptop very often and has to use our tablet for browsing.

If I build a small desktop I was thinking of getting a new GTX 760 or 770 and running it stand alone, but still have another PCI slot for possible SLI in the future. I like the idea of a challenge and welcome the opportunity to learn quite a bit through trial and error. I am going to wait until more info trickles out to decide. Any input?

How does the 760m compare to the 560m? I need something lighter to replace my NP8130.

given that the 560m competes with the past 640m/645m and that even the intel igpu wins against that, you are bound to receive around 2x performance

Yes, price and dimensions and weight would be nice. It would be nice to know if there will be support for Windows 7 as well. And card reader?
