    Hello,

First of all I wanted to say I have been following this particular section ever the W110ER has been released and I have always been a great fan of HTWingNuts Reviews and Premas work.

Now I am a little bit late to the party but I got a pretty fair deal on a used W110ER (in my country XMG A102) and I absolutely love this little laptop.

Although it might be outdated in todays terms it fits my personal needs perfectly and I would love to customize it even more.

I have tried contacting @Prema via PM but the option doesn't seem to be enabled here, additionally I have tried his website but it only shows a newsletter subscription (which I have signed up to but haven't received anything)

I would be very grateful to receive a prema bios for the W110ER (mine has the 3632QM) especially to undervolt it a little bit more and make it run cooler.

I have also read about custom heatsinks, are they still being made?

    Thanks very much in advance

so its not possible to even underclock the cpu ?

I have often read w110er prema mod bios is far superior though to the many options it unlocks and customizable features.

Even if undervolting isnt possible I would be very grateful to receive it.

It does only matter if you do overclock, so really no need for it.

I would consider overclocking if the thermals allow it

so in that case I would still be interested

no one can provide any help on getting the bios? I would also consider donating to prema

There is no would consider OC. You need a 3920XM or 3940XM to overclock which your cooling cannot handle without modding the entire system. All you can do right now is just wait for Prema to answer or not, currently he's very busy so it's not gonna happen anytime soon.

Is your laptop an XMG model? If so, try contacting @XMG themselves. They don't use Prema's BIOS, but have their own that is somewhat open too. A quick email, phone call or whatever might provide you with more information if they have one for your model too.

I'm not supposed to link directly to our website as it's against nbr rep posting rules, but I think it's ok when directly asked for links to BIOS:

    https://www.mysn.de/secure/userarea/download.asp

In "Archiv" section and then A102. Unfortunately I can't help with the answer RE the IPS panel and supporting BIOS for that, it's not something that was ever officially offered and I've never seen it done so wouldn't want to muddy the waters!
