Oh, I wasn't saying established brands don't suffer from battery cell shortages too. Tesla has done more in the way of being able to supply their own production lines than others. Credit where credit's due. The reliability aspect I was talking about is how people can expect their vehicles to arrive properly assembled and without major paintjob defects, as well as being able to promptly take their vehicles in to be serviced throughout its lifespan. No one is betting on Volkswagen not being around years from now. To be clear, I'm not expecting Tesla to simply disappear either. They'll either seek new investment or get bought out, but not all potential EV customers see it that way.
