Which steps are you having trouble with? If it is the BIOS HACK itself, then ComputerCowboy's excellent thread is for you. Everything else is a piece of cake. Let me know which links aren't working, and I'll try to help you out.

also, I am not able to make automatic brightness work. The display driver installed properly, The brightness sensor work for keyboard, but not display. Windows do not have auto brightness settings as well. I have selected in VAIO Control Center auto adjust but have no effect.

Normal brightness by hotkey/slider work properly.

am I missing any specific package from Sony to make it work?

My setting: BIOS VGA policy = Static, Patcher + latest Nvidia driver

VAIO Control Center has a section where you can assign actions to the S buttons. Try playing around with those.

Regarding automatic brightness control, I don't use it myself - found it to be rather irritating. You could try Power options -> Advanced settings -> Display settings - Enable adaptive brightness. Once it is enabled there, VAIO Control Center automatic brightness control might start working. Let us all know how you get on.

Thanks. The notification has been disabled.

Adaptive brightness do not actually let the screen auto adjust itself. Settings>System>Display should show the option of enable or disable adaptive brightness, obviously windows don't feel that I have sensors to detect light....
