Hi guys, I am willing to buy a laptop from Dell outlet and torn between these 2 choices:
    1. Inspiron 3567 core i7 7500U with 8GB RAM, W10 home, Radeon R5 M430, scratch and dent.
    2. Vostro 3568 core i5 7200U with 4GB RAM, W10 pro, Intel HD, refurbished.

The Inspiron is $110 more than the Vostro. Which way should I go?

I use a few heavy duty software like photoshop, matlab, java, android studio etc. Play games every now and then, but not the new high tech ones. More into the old games, which don't require very high quality graphics.

Which way should I go? Are the $110 extra for the 4GB extra memory, a touch processor improvement and the standalone graphics worth (keep in mind the scratch and dent)?

The Vostro is a better alternative overall. It's an entry-level business machine.

Even with the 4GB extra memory in Inspiron?

@Khalid.I.Saad neither. Both come with TN displays, while it's almost 2018.

As I am looking at refurbished laptops, isn't it already a given I have a budget constraint? :(

@Khalid.I.Saad what is your budget, exactly? It may be wiser to get a Skylake laptop of much better quality instead, they perform pretty much the same as Kaby Lake.

Around 500. The inspiron is 579 and the Vostro is 469. AUD that is.

@Khalid.I.Saad well here's the deal. 4GB RAM is not enough for serious work, and 8GB ain't stellar either. ULV CPU is meh, but with your budget - it'll have to do. Adding 8GB RAM stick to 3568 will set you back for $55 USD at the moment. What about storage on those options?

Are you shopping from the Outlets? Lenovo/Dell/HP all have official outlets.
