Sorry if this hav been asked before, but I've looked and cant find the answer.

I've got the VGP-CVZ1 cover for my Z13, and wondered if anyone has this with the extended battery. Off to get the battery tomorrow, but not 100% sure if it will fit with the new battery.

Cheers in advance and again apologies if this has been asked before.

I'll be receiving the VGP-CKZ1 in a few days ^^ could get it at a nice student and EOL discount so I thought, why not :p I've still got 22 months of full warranty on my Z so I can just as well get some extras.

Well now that VGP-CKZ1 is being returned right away. Z13 just doesn't seem to fit properly, it's WAY too tight.

Did it bulk up your Z too much? or was it a case of not fitting correctly?

It is kind of unfortunate that despite having one of the most super-snakiest notebooks around, because most of the nice bags out there are sized for Crapbooks we've all got to cart it around rattling inside a 15" bag. Doesn't cause me much inconvenience TBH, so I've stopped looking.

It just didn't fit correctly. It took quite some force to get it in there and I really had to pull VERY hard to get it out. And the magnetic lid didn't have enough room to close with the laptop inside, the standard battery seems to bulge it up a bit too much. I think it might fit better with the 3-cell battery though (even though nobody has that one).

I just went with this 13" MacBook bag from a local store. LArobe Black Addict MacBook 13.3 Inch - Black + Wasabi: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories (available in MANY colors, I have the black and green one since it was the only available one)

Wonderful fit! Of course it's a few cm (about an inch) too high, but the width is perfect! Quite a tight fit but not hard to get out. Doesn't move in the bag at all! And the material really looks like it can absorb quite a few shocks.
