Hi every one ! First, sorry for my english : I'm french :p
And I hardly find topic about upgrading AMD APU... So I decided to register here to learn more and contribute a little :)

I have a HP notebook g7-2302sf with A4-4300m and I want to upgrade it to A10-5750m, not particulary for gaming (I have a GTX980 for it) but just to learn how to and by the way, finish my notebook upgrade :
SSD : Sandisk Ultra plus 128GB,
    RAM : Kingston DDR3L 2x4GB 1600Mhz CL9 1.35V
Thermal paste : Arctic Silver 5
    (details are below)

But It's very difficult to find this APU here because there is no shipping from US and UK to France (ebay, amazon,...) However i found here a guy who sell this APU A10-5750m extracted from an MSI GX 60 for 60€ (about 66$ shipping included) and I will buy it soon.

I have a HP 184b Motherboard with F.28 bios version, and both A4-4300m and A10-5750m are FS1r2 socket (CPU Z is wrong I do not own A10 yet and I hope it's not FP2 socket too)

So according to what I read I think I will be able to upgrade it !

For information, this laptop g7-2302sf was sold in several website with the following indication : "2GB video memory dedicated" but it only have 512MB :( Somebody knows video memory of the HD8650G included in the A10-5750m APU ?

    Thanks,

you probably have a 2GB 7670M dedicated card - change "GPU #0" on the right side screen (below "AMD Radeon Graphics" image) ------> "GPU #1"

The A10-4600M & A10-5750M both have 512mb of video memory.

    The A10-5750M can use RAM @ 1866mhz
    The A10-4600m can use RAM @ 1600mhz

Business class notebook with amd apu! This sounds amazing! I wish I would have did this intead of my Dell. I wouldn't mind upgrading the cpu a few more times to get a high end a10.

I'd love to see a top-AMD-APU-powered dual digitizer convertible, upgradeable to 2x16GB RAM. =\

I faced the same problem and got sent some electronic waste. Fortunately, I have ordered two, from 2 different sellers, and one of them arrived intact. I have just checked and my 'good' seller no longer offers this item but I think, this should be a pretty good bet in case you won't find it decently priced on ebay http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Orig...L2-Cache-2-5GHz-to-3-5GHz-A10/2029279002.html

There are plenty of thieves on aliexpress, not everyone is one , though
