First off, thanks for the approval.

Recently upgraded, everything works well except Settings and ExpressCache (I think).

Boot times are painfully slow and when I attempt to execute Settings it gives me the "app blocked by admin" notice.

Searched on here and tried a few of the workarounds to no avail.

Any advice from you guys is greatly appreciated!

    Hello @TheRumor, wecome to NBR!

I have an NP700Z3A, which is very similar to yours, just with a smaller screen. I managed to get Win10 running without major problems, but it required some workarounds, particular in the areas of graphics drivers (Microsoft's drivers are the cause of your long boot delay) and Settings and ExpressCache (both of which are key to proper operation and full performance).

See my post about it here. Also make sure to check our stickied Samsung Win10 thread for advice.

In my case, I finally had enough of Win10 and went back to Win8.1. Not because of any incompatibilities with my Sammy, they worked pretty well together. Just because Win10 was SO busy with its own perpetual housekeeping, it barely had any time left for me and my work -- and that was even with automatic updates under control using Group Policy. To me Win8.1 with Classic Shell is a great sweet spot: It's like a faster, leaner Win7, without the heavy visual ornamentation. It will continue to receive security updates until 2023, but no more feature updates. In other words, Microsoft keeps it safe, but they don't otherwise mess with it. Just what I want :)

You are a wizard sir. :D

Graphics issue and settings both are resolved now.

Only issue that remains is EC, when I query eccmd.exe -info it reports: "Product is not licensed to run on this system."

    Any advice?

    Thanks again!

    Excellent, good job!

Yes, the EC offered by Samsung doesn't work on Win10. You have to use a version from another vendor, but keep the license file (EC.LMF) from your Samsung installation.

    Check this post for details.

Edit: That post in turn links to this post, which has the more detailed steps.
