I'm looking to buy a laptop with the Tiger Lake 11980HK CPU, and so far I've only found the following options.

    Alienware: https://www.dell.com/en-us/member/shop/cty/pdp/spd/alienware-x17-r1-laptop

    MSI: https://us-store.msi.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=801

    Gigabyte: https://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=710_1925_1920_1924&item_id=194122&language=en

I'm concerned about these laptops as they seem a bit thin and I've read that they may overheat because of this. Are there any upcoming 11980HK laptops that are a bit thicker than these ( something closer to those huge desktop replacement Clevo laptops ) ? Something similar to an AREA51M or a ASUS Mothership

Should I wait a few months to see if someone announces a new Tiger Lake H laptop ?

I'd wait, or go with AMD. I learn to avoid thin + light + performance laptops, as they don't cool, or perform properly, or are flimsy.

There shouldnt be any need for dual bricks, 165w 3080 (max potential) and maybe 100w for CPU? probably going to be a 330w if I had to guess.

That laptop looks pretty appealing, too bad im not in the market for one right now

Look at the back of the laptop - there are two power input jacks.

Also, there is this video showing two adaptors BUT I'm wondering if it's possible to buy the laptop in a configuration that won't require such high power demands. Like maybe configuring it with a 3070 GPU..
