I hope you all remember the crysis 3 tech demo that released years ago, It promised photo realism and when crysis 3 came out it was pretty but far from photo realistic, however this time I think PS5 and SX games will actually look that good or better.....very exciting times as we tip the pot and never go back, once games are at the photo realistic level they will never be able to improve beyond that and if they can deliver im sure ps5 will be produced for 20 plus years.

Neat, a new Tomb Raider game, I can't wait!

Looks great, but not to sound like a hater, I will wait till I can see this in action.

It's cool for single player games where 60hz is fine, but for anything multiplayer everything is getting turned down to LOW and OFF for me :p Gotta get them +144 frames, baby.

The water looks like it needs some fixing.

The character looks cartoony and worse than some of the more impressive stuff we’ve seen in current-gen, e.g. Gears 5/Tactics, while the rest of the demo looks ultra photorealistic and decidedly next-gen. Makes sense I guess as the model was rendered using traditional techniques while the environment was using the new tech, but a noticeable contrast nonetheless.

Pretty sure the character's look is entirely art direction and nothing to do with photo-realistic.

In that case, it’s inconsistent art direction ;). She looks like she belongs more in Fortnite or the UE4 kite demo than in a hyper real backdrop like that.

About the only game I did play with RT was Metro, because it could still muster around 60 fps with it enabled. I've yet to try control, though I heard it both looks amazing as well as is the hardest game to run with RT.
