    Hi Guys,

I read in other forums that people did find some ways for unlocking the non-K CPUs with special Bios, microcode hack or Baseclock overclocking. Is there anything like that for Clevo notebooks? Does a prema bios offer such things or is it simply useless, because there are anyway machines with K and HK CPUs?
    Here an example:

Not that I have seen mentioned on here. The K CPUs are not that much more expensive for those that want to dive in.

Sure, every premamod (except for a few models where it causes instability) ever made has a flexible BCLK for all CPU models.
Though it'll allow for like 5 additional Mhz per multi at most: e.g. a chip clocked at 3500Mhz would run maybe 36xxMhz ,so you are better off by investing in a higher clocked or unlocked CPU in the first place.

A little tweak with a nice undervolt is going to be nice but not experience changing that's for sure :)

    ok, thanks guys.
I read that with Skylake CPUs Intel changed it, so that the BUS clocks are not locked to the BCKL clock anymore, which always caused the instability on the PCIE clock e.g.
They wrote, that this was the main reason for instabilities and that's why only 5% more BCKL were possible on CPUs before Skylake.
Gotta check the source again. If I find it, I post it too.

Is there any prema mod for the P650RS already? I think dreammachines from poland offer a prema mod vbios and bios. Any chance to get it?

Sort of, even on desktops it tends not to be perfect and notebooks are a different matter as always.

As far as I recall: Yes, but unless the system was purchased through a Prema Partner, you'll have a hard time acquiring it.
