So I've looked a lot for a CCleaner alternative, the reason I always stuck to it despite its recent acquisition by Avast and having spyware/telemetry in it now, I still used it as it has a tool to uninstall the Windows Store apps which cannot be uninstalled from Settings > Apps normally.

Now I know I can remove those apps using PowerShell or some other program but I like minimizing the amount of tools that I use and using PowerShell is a pain in the butt as you have to remove the apps one by one and enter their App ID.

I tried many other alternatives like Glary Utilities, Wise Disk Cleaner, etc. and was always disappointed.

Some had ads/buttons to upgrade to pro, some had bloatware like disk defrag, optimizer, bla bla bla. All I want is a freakin' quick way to clear my temp/junk files and have the ability to remove the Windows Store Apps.

Well, just yesterday, Revo Uninstaller was upgraded to v4 which includes a Windows Store Apps removed and not only that, but it also scans for leftovers even in the Windows Store apps and I was astonished by the amount of leftovers that were left behind which CCleaner never removes, it simply gets rid of the app so it's not visible but see for yourself just one example of the amount of garbage these filthy apps leave behind.

So now my setup is, upon installing Windows (fresh install), I use Revo Uninstaller Pro Portable 4 to get rid of the Windows Store apps, it does also have a junk files cleaner by the way now so that's all you need. Not sure if if the free version has the same options so please do try it and report back.

I also use BleachBit Portable for a quick junk files cleaner

I've used Revo for a couple years now, and it's worked great. Would love to upgrade to version 4, but am not a fan of the subscription model.

Just installed Revo Uninstaller Free Portable on a friend's computer and unfortunately the free version does not have the option to delete Windows Store apps so you gotta pay to play with the paid version of Revo Uninstaller to fully get rid of all those Windows Store apps and their leftovers.

Try BCUninstaller to get rid of MS Edge, UWP apps and other system apps with complete removal. You can try it in a VM.

I used the latest version of Geek Uninstaller to remove all the Win Store junk after doing a "bloated" 1809 install.
Worked well, and removed a s-load of leftovers too. Only drawback is you still need an extra program for system cleanup

oh thanks for this tip, I didn't know that GeekUninstaller had the ability to uninstall Windows store apps until you mentioned it and then I looked and yes I can select Windows Store Apps from the View Menu!

Use Dism++ Appx or BCuninstaller to remove anything from Win store or UWP apps w/o any traces. BCU is slow and Dism++ is fast as lightning.
