I know that it is not internal. I believe it is USB I know someone will be able to confirm, but I know it is not internal. :(

all of the tv tuners on Dell are USB. I'm not even sure if there is an internal TV tuner for laptops. All of the ones that I have seen are either USB or PCMCIA/Express slot cards.

Some of the Fujitsus (N3000 and N6000 series) have the option for a built in TV Tuner, although I believe it still uses the USB bus. I know this doesn't help and has nothing to do with Dell, just a little FYI for SG. ;)

Yep just something else to clutter your desk and take up some money. You can just download whatever you want to watch for free! Or watch it on a tv three times as big as your notebook's monitor with a tivo (thats what I do :)

LOL thanks Mach. I guess I should rephrase my statement - there isn't a dell laptop that I know of that has an internal tv tuner. The only internal tv tuners I've seen are for desktops, but I guess since Fujitsu has one, maybe this will be a new trend for newer laptops.

It should be noted that the Toshiba Qosmio line also features built-in TV tuners as well :)
