    Hi

I am using a HP Laptop, newly purchased (Just 3 months back) from USA with latest configurations. I tried to connect it to my LG Flatron TV (also newly purchased 2 months back). For the first time it got connected. Again I am trying to connect it to watch a movie almost after a month it displays "power saving mode" with the power button of the TV turning light orange colour.
The screen goes completely black. I tried connecting it many times, my laptop is in balanced power mode and fully charged. Also all the plugs are fitted properly..

Is there any solution to this.....

    Regards

i have a HP laptop, that i to put through an LG TV ...

i use HDMI,and just change the output through the function key etc.

Make sure the resolution is set to something that the TV can display ... it might be switching itself off, to save itself from damage as your trying to push too much through it ...

try 1024*768 and go from there ...

    :)

I have an HP laptop which I connect to my 42' Plasma TV. I am able to establish this connection via HDMI or VGA cables.

Your LG TV is going into standby as your laptop is not broadcasting any signal.

Follow the steps below to have a general area:

    1. Connect all the requisite cables between your laptop and the lcd/plasma.
    2. Press Fn+F4 continously till the image is displayed. The combination of the Fn and F4 keys switch the display between the laptop LCD, external screen, and the laptop LCD and an internal. See what works out best for you.
