Someone cludged a 64Mbit chip onto a Satellite L445D, but opening the BIOS ROM in a hex editor shows only 1Mbyte of data. Need to know the original chip number. Thanks.

Found a supposed bios dump for a LA-5831P motherboard(in a quick search, thats either L450 or L445 motherboard(but they almost the same)), going by its size 1Mb is indeed the expected size.

Well, after hacking 7Mbyte of zeros off of the end of the BIOS image and writing it to a 1Mbyte chip, the computer powered on, restarted, finished POST with no issues, and performs much better than it did with an "unwriteable" chip. Thanks for the help senso!
