    Is there a way to disable the numlock message that appears in the upper left on the Overpowered ones? I use a lot of virtual machines in virtualbox and every time I'm switching between I get that popup. Thx

    If anyone could find any of the new OLED/240hz panels could be a good upgrade to prevent PWM, some blur, improvement to colors, or just to increase value of the laptop.
    Also what do some of you think of the Razer Blade Pro, seems like a worst laptop since RTX 2070 is max-q as well as the RTX 2080 on that laptop vs TF 17 being able to do RTX 2070 max-p

    Sad times, the UK site isnt updated for it yet ;-;
    Hopefully it's the 90w version and not the 80w.

    I know the 80w version is around 4-6% faster than the full rtx 2070 in laptops so the 90w should still be a decent buy.

    haha, of course!! 8 days after my return period ends, the new chips are out with a 2080! granted it's $250 more for a similar 2070 config, and i can only imagine how much more for a 2080 max q unit. I don't think it's proportionate for the performance increase. Pretty sweet deal nonetheless.

    I just flashed the BIOS on my OP 17+ from 1.04 to 1.08.

    Everything seemed to go fine but I lost the LED bar on the front of the computer. It doesn't power on anymore. The good news is the fan toggles to Turbo now with the switch next to the power button.

    Anyone know how to fix the LED in the front?

    IN the OP Control Center, under the EZ Switch tab the last option at the bottom is called: Turn off OSD (On-Screen Display).

    See if that helps.

    Just when I'm about the buy the PowerSpec 1720 from Microcenter, Eluktronics lowered the price on the mech17 to match the 1720 at $1599 >.<

    Really can't make up my mind now

    DO you have a link to each configuration? Are you looking to get the 8750 or 9750?

    Mech17 and 1720. I'll go for the 8750 though I see many people in here struggling to cool the 8750h

    You gotta get the Mech. Choose the Liquid Metal to help cooling. No tax and you get a free mouse and pad
