    The ram it comes with is already 2666 speed and will run at that. My Eluktronics Ram ran at that speed as well. Only reason things were an issue is with XMP memory upgrades like to my 32gb g-skill Ram. Without its XMP profile was only running at 2400. However using Intel Xtu i was able to activate its Xmp profile, and not only did it get to the 2666 "cap", it went to my Memories full 2800 Xmp speed.

    Im in the same boat as you :p
    Cant decide what to get. I would either get it from PCS or Chillblast, depending on whether you want GSYNC or not since XMG is based in Germany and is slightly more expensive for the same stuff in PCS. Apparently, Cyberpower is going to get the 2080 maxQ version so there's that but it will most likely have the US keyboard.

    Personally, I'd go for the GSYNC. I'm hopefully gonna get them to remove the storage so I can get it cheaper.

    Thanks for the reply - and to update I just got an email back from Chillblast saying this model doesn't support G-Sync (even though it says it does on their website grrrr they are dead to me now).

    Sadly, just as I suspected. I was skeptical when I saw the G-Sync feature advertised. I’m glad you reached out to the company before making a purchase. But considering the kinds of benchmark scores we have been seeing from every GPU stuck into this chassis (very good), I hardly think Optimus is a detriment in this case.

    In GPU intensive games, the differency can be large. Bur it can handle every game flawless.

    100% this chassis doesn't offer a G-Sync option. We would have offered it if so;)

    G-SYNC a must? --> Clevo
    Otherwise --> Tongfang

    Not that difficult it seems :)

    Im still deciding on whether the size is a big deal or not mixed with GSYNC. Quite like my current 17" but one of my reasons getting a new laptop is for it to be smaller and lighter so my daily walk to my uni campus is less of a hassle.
