I see, thank for the info.
I'd really like the larger battery option but sadly I'm located in Europe and haven't been able to track one down at reasonable prices.
    I've looked at https://www.pcspecialist.be/notebooks/recoil-III-rtx-17/ and https://laptopparts4less.frl/17.3in...2070-8Gb-Coffee-Lake-game-laptop-samenstellen
and while definitely the cheapest options, they don't offer the larger capacity. Other retailers charge 2000+ euros so definitely not an option.
I've also contacted one of them to see if they can offer the larger battery one but they didn't even know it existed.
If anyone has links to one I'd appreciate it but at this point I'm even thinking of importing a Mech 17...

Before you import be sure of your end price.
If you import from US, you need to add sales tax, import tax and probs a custom handling tax as well. That will eat up all the advantage in price.

True, I'll check out what options I have. hell, looking at flight ticket prices I might even go pickup one myself lol. I'll wait a month or so to see if a retailer here doesn't lower their prices/get the larger battery.

Just be sure to bring a well aged laptop bag, so hopefully Customs doesn't get involved/interested, because at that point, they can ask for receipts or such, for proof of how long you've had it!
You don't want to have to pay the price difference as calculated by those guys, on top of your flight ticket!

It would be great to get confirmation from Eluktronics that this file you linked to is the one they recommend for use with their Mech-17 G1Rx.

It's strange to me that they can't pre-install it at the factory. They should at least include a paper insert in each laptop sold that recommends the exact software that improves the audio.

    Here you are: https://www.laptop-battery.org.uk/laptopbattery/1005072.htm
This is the bigger battery itself, available in Europe.

It is installed. I just got my Mech-17 G1Rx and it is there under the letter S in the list of installed programs.

Do the same thing Sean does in this video:

Ofc. For both the 15 and 17 inch, the 2.5 inch bay has to go for the bigger battery to fit. You cant fit a larger capacity in the same volume without drastically changing the battery.
