I can't find any review about this new TongFang laptop.
    https://store.illegear.com/extreme-performance/207-illegear-onyx-pro.html
It seems too good good to be true as it is very thin/light and can be configured with a regular laptop RTX 2070 (no max Q).
No other so compact laptop come with a regular RTX 2070, the ones that does are at least 50% thicker/heavier.
So it someone could post a review i would be very interested as i fear about the thermal and I'm skeptic about the viability of the configuration, it must throttle to death.
On the other hand it's so tempting...

It says it is 1.5 kg so that is about 3.4 pounds with 2060 video card. I have seen other laptops with same specs approximately 1 to 1.5 pounds heavier. Larger heatsink and fan due to CPU and GPU.

Sure but i'm talking about the regular RTX 2070 configuration, not the RTX 2060 one (i also know illegear are known to substrract 0.100/0.150 g to the weight but still).

I do not think there is a "full" 2070 or that it but can be properly cooled in this chassis, but it would be great for sure to be proven wrong! There are some video reviews on YouTube but they are unfortunately not in English. There is one review of the 17" model that is in English however and it looks very nice. Hope it comes to the European resellers soon.

Here you have video reviews of the 15" though they are not in English

And here is the review of the 17" version, both text and video
    https://www.tech-critter.com/review-illegear-selenite-pro/

I am also waiting for a proper review of the 15" in English... sofar, it looks fine to me.

The 15" version is also known as Mechanike Machcreator in China and if you use translator, you can find some extensive reviews in Chinese. They reveal that the machine falls short to the Eluktronics Mag-15 / XMG Fusion 15 / Maingear Element / Aftershock Vapor 15 in terms of thermals and performance. Also, the Chinese reviews state that the 15" version weights 1.79 kg

I am considering buying the 15" version if CES 2020 does not reveal something astonishing. Also, the 17-inch version looks not well utilized in terms of space. As if they crammed the 15-inch system into a larger, 17" chassis, and paired it with a larger battery. No improved cooling or anything. It is a pity

Yes as i specified in the title hehe

The Eluktronics Mag-15 / XMG Fusion 15 / Maingear Element / Aftershock Vapor 15 have a RTX 2070 max Q at best and you tell me the TongFang-GK5CP7Y that can come with a full laptop RTX 2070 perform worse ?
It's awful then, no way i buy it but thanks for the info.

Sorry for not being specific enough. The comparison was abou the 1660ti version of TongFang GK5CP6Y not performing as well as the Mag-15
