now that you have replaced your paste with master gel maker, what are your CPU temp reading?

can you do a quick TS bench (the benchmark tool built into TS), run 1024M size 12 threads, run it 2-3 times continuously and see what the individual max temps you are getting for each core?

hey guys, can any of you guys give me some clarity about power saving with this device? as it is right now i got one performance setting for TS to basically avoid the below 40% throttling to 800MHz and undervolt my cpu a little bit; when not plugged i mostly use game center to conserve battery, because i dont know how i should set up my throttle stop battery profile.. also i dont know if using gamecenter even works when TS is open, which one has priority? can anyone explain me how the game center interacts with TS and maybe share their TS battery profile?

thanks in advance, love this community btw <3

exact same problem as mine. in fact all tong fang GK7 series all suffer the exact same issue. heatsink is not balanced and 3 cores are a lot hotter than the other 3.

for the temps you are getting, what's the frequency for all cores of your CPU when running TS bench 1024?

if you run it at 4GHz all core turbo (after you undervolt so you dont hit power limit), the temperature difference between coolest and hottest cores can soar over 10C.

Constant 4Ghz turbo throughout all 3 runs. I didnt touch any clock speed settings yet.

Honestly i'm quite okay with these temps. I'm on a -200mv undervolt atm and can probably squeeze a bit more. Was stable at 215 as well but i dialed it back. But i'll still play around with the mounting pressure to try and drop the differential even more. Otherwise i'll have to get a much thicker paste. Phobya Nanogrease Extreme comes to mind
