    Well thats how it is. The bigger battery has more voltage and it'll still work fine with the laptop.

    Doesn't the voltage depend on whether the cells are in series or parallel?

    Yep. The cells are in series so adding an extra cell increased the voltage.

    And the Laptop internals are fine at 14v?

    Just slightly worried about bricking it - Just looked at the youtube vid and looks OK.

    Just out of interest how many people did the battery mod going from a 3-cell 11.4 to the 4 cell 15.2v?

    To my knowledge, there are two confirmed?

    Does anyone know if their machine reaches C7/C8 sleep states? I have tried everything I could find but it does not go below C3 state resulting in lower battery backup while my Dell G7 and predator could easily reach there. Check Package C state
