Thank you for the assistance mate, with this setup, the CB test doesn't trigger any throttling, my multiplier is at 39 solid during the CB run, though my score is still slightly below the numbers I've seen, doesn't bother me that much if I can get this performance with stability. Here is my setup:

I'm using CB R15, dunno what you guys use to get the test results, also, I'm not messing with cpu priority while testing. Also, to answer your question, the PSU is 180W, it's what PC Specialists sent me as a replacement for the 150W one as that was causing my laptop sudden shutdowns and the like. I'll do some extensive testing later, if you have any suggestions on what to change, let me know!

I am requesting the OP 17 2070 bios from a friend who has the PCSpecialist equivalent machine. Hopefully we'll get to try it soon.

I think visual studio is trying to get me mad or something similar. I wrote on my code those tiny windows shouldn't appear and on my laptop they doesn't appear :/

Are there places to purchase localised keycaps for the GK5CN5Z? I've bought Overpowered's version of the laptop and would like to change the US layout to a UK one.

@Phoenix1221 - Are you running single channel memory or dual channel? Single channel will negatively effect Cinebench scores. Too many background tasks will also hurt your Cinebench numbers. When an 8750H is idle, ThrottleStop should be showing C0% at approximately 0.5. Many people have way too many inefficient apps running in the background on their computers which reduces performance.

In my opinion, a combined CPU + GPU AIDA stress test is overkill for most laptops. Are there any real world apps that you need to run that are going to stress a computer anywhere near this level? Probably not.

There's the warning. If AIDA stress testing is important to you, try increasing the Turbo Boost Long and Short Power Max values. Go up by 5, 10, 20 or whatever and see if it helps. Post a screenshot of ThrottleStop with Limit Reasons open while this stress test is running so I can see what ThrottleStop reports when the CPU is fully loaded.

Hi, yes its the same chassis. Overall its a pretty nice laptop. I'm having issues with the keyboard not always registering 2 fast keystrokes so I get words with letters missing... there's a bios update that fixes this issue apparently and not everyone has this problem. There's a strong community behind this laptop and there's seems to be a fix and mods for almost anything.

I was also looking into the clevo you mentioned, its a good option too. The Tongfang is smaller so it depends how much you value portability and things like per key RGB etc...

The clevo might be one notch ahead in terms of overall quality but not sure, i've never had one in hands. The annoying thing about the keyboard is that I really like how it feels and its great to type on but I'm just getting this stupid issue, I guess its only a big deal if you type really fast and I'll look into it and find a fix eventually

One issue I have and need to investigate with my OEM is that if I leave a mini DP cable attached to my 1440p gsync monitor the laptop will boot very slowly and I lose the sata ssd (does not show in my pc in windows). So yeah maybe its just my laptop and I have the 15 inch version but I'm waiting for someone to try this when they receive their RTX Tongfang machine to know if its a fault with the design of the laptop

The newly refreshed RTX TongFang chassis have only just been released so it might be that we need a bios update to fix those issues and I'm experiencing first adopter bugs.

I hope this helps. I'm still happy I chose this little guy and be done with bulky heavy gaming laptops even if that meant going with Max-Q gpu.

Am I the only one with a Tongfang RTX gpu? Just wondering because I can't install latest 418.81 nvidia driver because they didnt include the device id of this chassis (motherboard) in their driver masking it impossible to install

I even tried modded drivers after turning off secure boot and disabling driver signature check but nothing works...

I went ahead and made the purchase...Mechanical Keyboard/4 Exhaust ports/Massive bottom grills/Better screen/Better heat dissipation all made this a no brainer to me..a huge compromise is the thickness esp coming from a MBP, but I'll get over it since it has everything I want ... As much as I admire thin laptops I can't help but think if Clevo even made any major changes to their cooling system from the previous P9XXX series and I just think this looks better..

With that being said, I also read about the keystroke issues...What's weird is how only some people are having this issue yet there's a bios fix? So what exactly is happening with the people who don't have this issue or are they just not noticing it?

I'm probably one of the very few that purchased the 2060 Version so maybe I'll have better luck IA and I'll also be on the lookout for the issues you mentioned to see if it's your device or a TongFang issue... Thank you for the response..

Also on your last point I think in the 17" thread people were having the same issue trying to install drivers and some were having issues even getting their RTX GPU recognized...
