    - You need to reinstall nVidia 341.74 drivers, because are not signed won't allow them directly. Disable signed drivers on W10 and reinstall patched with INF driver patcher v4.7.

    - Windows 10 doesn't preserve all your previous configuration. For example, the unsigned graphic drivers weren't allowed directly. It reset also the default web browser to Microsoft Edge

    - By default it has enabled some options that may regard privacy issues, like sharing certaing things with Microsoft. I don't think such thinks should be enabled by default.

    - Third party web browsers look ugly the graphical interface, like chrome, firefox, Maxthon...

-IAStorDataMgrSvc.exe is using 24% of CPU

    - SearchIndexer.exe is using another 24% of CPU

    - Can't launch Intel Rapid Storage from system tray, it shows a warning triangle and the windows doesn't shown even after clicking on Open Application

    - Trying to update the "Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (Intel® RST) RAID Driver" from official website just fails (running SetupRST.exe)

Sony has informed users to NOT upgrade to Windows 10 as they have not yet provided any Windows 10 compatible drivers & software as mentioned here:

I see, but I doubt Sony will update its drivers for the Z1. That page is for all models.

You tried to install an old Intel driver. You can find the newest one (14.5.xxxx) here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/55005/Intel-Rapid-Storage-Technology-Intel-RST-
That one is Win 10 compatible.

Did you find any noticeable improvement after installing the new RST driver? I had the HDD model Z1; I replaced the HDD with a 2.5" SSD, so I do not have RAID.

Just sharing my Win10 upgrade experience with a VPZ13M9E (without a BIOS hack).
Sony original driver was not needed for me.
All you have to do is enter TEST mode or disable driver signing through Win10 settings.
Andrew driver works (I did install it on Win7 compatibility and admin just to be sure).
Other Drivers I installed (all on Win7 compatibility and admin) not in this order:
    -Intel chipset (latest from Intel)
    -Intel ME
    -Intel RST (latest from Intel)
    -Intel Turbo Boost
    -Intel WLAN (latest from Intel)
-Ricoh Memory Stick and SD card
    -Sony Setting Utility Series
    -Sony Shared Library
    -Sony Firmware Extension Parser
    -Sound (latest from Realtek)
    -VAIO control center
    -VAIO event service
    -VAIO location utility
    -VAIO power management
    -VAIO Smart Netwotk
    -WWAN

I have only a minor "bug". When I am opening my laptop the graphics are not setup correctly. It can either start in a black screen or boot normally switching ability. A restart or a log off- log on fixes this always and restores normal operation and switching ability. This only happens on a normal boot after a full shutdown. This never happens on a restart. I am currently trying to figure out which driver or service is failing in this situation. Will repost if I find something useful.

All other features work as Win7 (auto brightness-Volume and brightness buttons-other buttons).
I only miss the fingerprint on power up, but I think that Protector Suite in incompatible with Win8.1 and Win10
