I am really curious about this laptop as well. IPS screen on this one isn't good?

    Hi all,

after drawing a blank from my normally preferred source I'm looking for a Germany-based reseller that offers the N850hp6 configured with the fingerprint reader factory option
(and the i7-7700HQ, 62Wh battery, 2x USB 3.1 Gen2 ports, FHD webcam, Intel 8265 WiFi, German keyboard, for that matter).

    Any hints are appreciated.

I don't know if we are your usual preferred source, butbi not please checkout the link to the XMG A517 in the above post. Itbhas everything you need, apart from the fingerprint reader.....this unlisted as a factory option in the service many which I'm sure toubhave checked out in the link above, but I'm not aware of any companies which offer this chassis with the fingerprint reader. To be honest I'm not even sure if the option made it to mass production orders or if it was just a pre launch option.

Wouldn't an LCD display cable be built in already? Or would I need to buy one of those as well?

There's one there, but the 120Hz panel should have a different pinout, in which case you need to do some disassembly to swap the cable also.
