In W10 and IE, it is near IMPOSSIBLE to use the site of the RAM and more so the CPU cycles it uses.

We are talking close than 1GB.

Ive tested in in a VM to make sure it isnt my machine or anything and same thing happens.

In Chrome it is SLIGHTLY better but still around 500MB; A forum should not take that much resources up.

    Optimize your ****.

Hmmm? On the machine from my sig, I get about 2% CPU usage and 200Mb of RAM used on NBR. You sure it's not something on your end?

@riahc3 Which forum style are you using. Try vB 3.x Fluid.

I would add that the style choose is at the bottom left corner of the screen.

I actually left the VM I was testing it on, on and I went to close it this morning and Chrome had a message saying it used too much ram and crashed.

The VM was a fresh installation of updated Windows. Completely clean. Only Chrome was installed..

It's probably an ad that's causing the problem. I wish this place offered a premium membership where you could pay a certain amount for ad-free access.

The vB3.x Fuild theme comes with no ads as far as I can tell, just tested with a browser with no ad or script blockers.

That being said, ads shouldn't be taking up that much CPU and RAM as far as I know. We have had some issued over at tabletpcreview with ads in the past. If you ever end up pinpointing the issue, let us know. Depending on what it is, we may be able to forward that to the admins to have it fixed.
