Do you guys think that Alienware will keep the 14" model after launching the 13" one? Because I am looking for something a little more powerful than the 13, but Im not sure if they will still keep the 14 around

More specifically there are many new thin and lights coming out soon, haven't seen any 11-14" though. There are some refreshes coming out but not certain on any new chassis.

    15.6"
    Asus gx500 (19mm thick, 2.2kg)
    Clevo p650 (25mm thick, 2.6kg)
Clevo p750 (suspected to be thin no info yet just a benchmark)

    17.3"
Clevo p670 (17" brother to upcoming p650, no specs yet though)
    Acer Aspire v17 Nitro (25mm, 3kg)

not sure on interest in that specifically, but I did make a thread with a list of nearly every 860m+ GPU laptop including overview, links to reviews, etc... http://forum.notebookreview.com/what-notebook-should-i-buy/762593-comprehensive-overview-present-upcoming-gaming-laptops.html its in order by screen size, then thickness.

Clevo P650 will be unveiled today, from a quick conversation it sounds like it'll start shipping out around end of October.

The 17" P750 wasn't talked about, but I suspect it'll receive a similar ship date, just later unveiling.

Since we are discussing on 11-14" thin, light, and confirmed availability :

    P34W v3
    14" 1920x1080 Wide View Angle
    Intel Core i7-4710HQ 2.5-3.5GHz
    GTX 970M GDDR5 6GB
    16GB DDR3L
    128GB SSD + HDD 1TB 5400rpm
    Win8.1
    4 cell (61Whr)

    height x width x depth (in mm): 21 x 340 x 239
    ~1.67kg (w/ Battery, m-SSD)
    ~1.76kg (w/ Battery, m-SSD, HDD)

I prefer taking out the HDD and use a 1TB mSATA SSD for the weight and capacity.

Think there's any chance of them putting a 4k display in that?

Looks nice. I want to sell my rMBP for a bit more power and a supported OS (OSX has poor support imo) and I was looking at gigabyte. But what's the deal with their vending and such? it's like impossible to get one in Belgium (Europe)...
