Page up for GT76 Titan 10SG/F.

    • 10th gen core i9 (Comet Lake-S unless they’ve gone back to BGA)
    • RTX 2070/2080 (will probably launcher with Super?)
    • WM490 chipset??? No info about this. No Z desktop chipset like existing models?
    • They’ve dropped the DT (because no longer using a desktop chipset?)
This could all just be placeholder information, but it confirms something is coming.

"We get to hear from Intel that there would be a total of three 3W 14 nm chipsets — the HM470 with 16 lanes targeted at most mainstream laptops, the QM480 with 20 lanes targeted at businesses and workstations, and the WM490 with 24 lanes targeted at high-end laptops. "

Z490 and s-series processors are still not released by Intel.

Regarding the coming Msi books with 10th gen Core processors, it's amazing that MSI haven't put it with intels new mem specs who is DDR4-2933

I see. Those chipsets are listed in the context of Comet Lake-H. Will the 10th gen GT76 models use H processors? Or can they mix desktop CPUs with mobile chipsets? IFAIK there will be a Z490.

The next release of GT76 will be LGA based only. However, the new CPUs are under Non-disclosure for several more weeks. The good news is the K-series will release first.

Until then, we will stay with the current GT76, to the extent there is inventory left...they haven't made any new ones for some time.

I'm about ready to buy a custom GT76 from HID with a de-lidded processor and Grizzly thermal interface material. I'm not a gamer, I do 3D CAD modeling for construction and work in a relatively quiet office. Will this laptop be too loud? I don't want to sound like I have a microwave running on my desk. The laptop shouldn't throttle much...I hope. What do you all think? I'd hate to set the bar lower by getting something slower and quieter.
