Unfortunately it's not how much time it takes to fix the particular problem it was sent in for, it's how much time before it gets assigned a tech to perform the repair needed. MSI is one of the quicker turnaround times for manufacturers and so you should be seeing it ship pretty soon. You can always call and see if they can provide you a status update since it's been presumably two weeks without one.

Thanks, if nothing changes before Monday I'll give them a call to see what the deal is.

Normally, it's two to three week turn-around time if everything goes smoothly. Sometimes, they may have to order parts from factory which can take longer.

How is the repaste process on these?

From the photos, it looks as though the entire cooling assembly can be removed quite easily (don't have to remove the entire motherboard, I mean) ...

    thanks...

Thanks for response. I'm always using DDU before reinstalling drivers. Checked latest from NVidia and still random crashes. Maybe this weekend when I got more free time I'll do more testing. Just want to know if any other owner of GT73 come across this error. I still can send it back to shop for full refund, but I need to pay for shipment. And if I want insure my parcel it's going to cost a lot more.

Before sending it back try MSI Support, they have listed the problem under symptom drop-down list as

SFT09-System Randomly Hang Up / Freeze

May be you will get the solution and no need to send it back to re-seller at all.

Can you take a picture of the exact error? What driver are you using? I had a few issues with BF1 then the latest driver seemed to fix them but I have had no other issues running BF4, DOOM, and TW3 fully maxed out. I read a review on another model (GT62VR) where someone could not run any game and had to RMA due to a bad video card, paying shipping for a bad laptop is really bogus IMHO.
