My 7th gen GT73VR 1080 (1 582 MHz default) does about 2 050 MHz peaks in TimeSpy w/o OC. Well, OC doesn't do much as the power limit kicks in.

    Hi guys,
Sorry to have arrived very late to the party but I have just purchased a 2018 GT73VR as a backup machine. Having run Alienwares since 2009, this is my first MSI. The one I purchased has the 1070's in SLI but only 16Gb RAM. I am unlikely to game with it but I will probably use it for graphics work and video creation. My question to you guys who know this machine well is should I upgrade the RAM to 32Gb and are there any other upgrades that are worth considering?

Don't know, haven't received it yet. Should arrive on Wednesday.
I doubt it is in a RAID configuration because AFAIK, it has a single 256 Gb SSD (M.2 PCIe - NVMe) and a single 1 Tb data drive.
