Here is a great place to get your new panel. I've purchased from them several times. Your series brings up these options: https://www.laptopscreen.com/English/model/MSI/GT73VR 6RF SERIES/

The second listing https://www.laptopscreen.com/English/model/MSI/GT73VR 6RF SERIES/?hash=279191 should be what you need. It uses a 40-pin connector like your 4k panel, and it's the 120hz HD version. As far as swapping out the keyboard, I would think it would work if the connector was the same and the layout fit the same, but you wouldn't know until you got there, and it would require removing the motherboard to reach (you go in from the bottom and gut it to reach the top.)

No there's no need to update the bios. The screen is a direct replacement usually unless it's not on the bios whitelist. In that case you either don't see anything during POST or some screen features won't work (like backlight adjustment).

Seems very legit. I hope shipping to EU doesn't cost an arm and a leg :)

You can get more up-to-date driver from the component manufacturers directly, and the best repository is station-drivers.

if I dont use dragon center, what software should I use to adjust the cpu/gpu power plan and fan speed?
I planned to use .bat file to input XTU command to change the CPU power plan, does this work for GT73?

How about the GPU plan and fan speed setting?

These are your alternatives when not using dragon center

If you want a program that only controls the cpu/gpu fans, try msi silent option. Make sure you download the skylake version. https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=255972.0

You can use MSI Afterburner for control GPU power/clocks. https://www.msi.com/page/afterburner

In regards to CPU power plan, it depends how you are overclocking. If you are overclocking with CPU adaptive voltage from the bios + have speedshift enabled, you can use the windows balanced power plan by clicking the battery icon/using the slider to toggle where you want your performance at any given time. If you are using static voltage, you can just create a custom power plan in windows and have the performance set at 100% min/max. Or if you are looking for software for CPU overclocking, you can try Throttlestop or XTU.
