    Ok, when I get off work I will try that.

    And would you possibly tell me what VBIOS you have? Is it the same bios as my card...

    If this bug is what I think it is, this has nothing to do with the Vbios whatsoever, and everything to do with how the "Auto" configuration works for the PEG port.

    I need to PM him the fix.
    He probably ran into the PEG bug which is STILL not fixed on the last MSI Bios (I can replicate a black screen 100% of the time on the latest GT73VR Bios).

    He has to enable an option in System Agent.
    Enable this option

    Hopefully this would fix it. I will report back later tonight.

    And thanks for the input guys , this will hopefully resolve my issue.

    If I already have the GT73VR with a 1080, do you think I'll be able to upgrade to a 2080 mxm at some point in the future?

    At least not easy - the GPU chips are different size/form.
